West Engineering Systems LLC
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how West Engineering Systems LLC handles information when you visit westengineeringsystems.com, request service through the website, or contact us using the details provided here.
Effective date: October 16, 2026
Information we collect
Information you provide
The service-request form asks for your company, first and last name, and phone number. You may also provide a machine location and fault details. Please do not include passwords, confidential control-system information, or other sensitive information that is not needed for an initial inquiry. The current form does not ask for an email address. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and anything you choose to include in your message; if you call us, we receive the information you choose to share by phone.
Website and referral information
When you use the site, our hosting and technology providers may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser or device information, and the pages requested. The site records referral and campaign information when available: the landing page path, the referring page URL (which can contain a query string), campaign source, medium, name, search term and content, Google and Microsoft advertising click identifiers, and an attribution capture time. It keeps initial-visit information in local storage and current-visit information in session storage in your browser. If you submit the service-request form, the site sends relevant current- and first-visit referral information, the page used to submit the form and the submission time with your request. The attribution capture time is stored in the browser but is not included in the form submission. Not every visit has all of these details.
How we use and share information
We use information you provide to respond to your inquiry, discuss whether onsite diagnostics are appropriate, coordinate a possible service visit, keep related business records, and communicate with you about your request. We use website and referral information to understand how visitors find and use the site and to evaluate service-request activity. We may also use information to maintain the site and address misuse or security concerns.
The site is hosted with Firebase Hosting, a Google service. The service-request form sends its submission to Make, an automation service, which routes and processes service inquiries for notification, communication, and business recordkeeping. Google Analytics processes website usage and event data, and Google advertising technology is present as described below. The 404 error page also loads a font stylesheet from Google Fonts. These providers may process information to deliver their services.
We do not sell the contact details you submit in a service request for money. Analytics and advertising technologies can involve disclosure of online identifiers to their providers. Some U.S. privacy laws may define certain advertising-related disclosures as a “sale” or “sharing” even when no money is paid; whether a particular right applies depends on the law and the technologies in use. You may contact us about an applicable opt-out request.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Google Analytics is installed on the site. It measures visits and interactions such as service-request link clicks, viewing or starting the form, and whether a submission succeeds or fails. The form's name, company, phone and fault-detail fields are not intentionally included in those Analytics event parameters. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies and process technical usage information under Google's practices.
The site loads a Google AdSense script while advertising is being prepared. Loading that script does not establish whether ads are currently displayed or the site has been approved by AdSense. Google may receive technical browser information when the script loads. Depending on advertising settings and your browser, Google and any participating advertising vendors may use cookies or similar identifiers. If ads are served, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve and measure ads based on your visits to this site or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this and/or other sites.
You can manage personalized ads through Google Ads Settings and learn about some third-party advertising choices at AboutAds.info. Opting out of personalized advertising does not necessarily remove all ads. For more information about Google's use of data on partner sites, see Google's partner-sites information.
You can also manage cookies and clear local storage or session storage through your browser settings. Blocking these technologies may affect some site or third-party features. This site does not currently offer its own cookie-preference panel.
We intend to serve ads worldwide. Before worldwide ad serving is enabled, we will use an appropriate Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) for visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, and appropriate privacy messaging for applicable U.S. states. These measures are not yet implemented on this website.

Privacy requests
If you want to ask about, correct, or request deletion of information you submitted, or ask about an applicable advertising opt-out right, email us using the address below. We may need to verify your request and may retain information when needed for an ongoing service matter, recordkeeping, or applicable legal obligations. Rights and exceptions vary by location; we will respond as required by applicable law. If your browser offers controls for cookies or advertising preferences, you may use those as described above.
Retention and security
We retain inquiry and service-related information for as long as reasonably needed to handle inquiries, provide service, maintain business records, and meet legal or accounting obligations. Analytics and other providers may retain technical data according to the settings and terms that apply to their services. We do not state a fixed period for every category of information. The site uses HTTPS, but no method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure. Please avoid sending sensitive credentials or confidential system details through the form.
External links and children's privacy
This site links to third-party resources, including manufacturer documentation. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one. Our business website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly ask children to submit personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us so we can review it.

We may update this policy as our website or information practices change. The effective date at the top will show when the current version took effect. For privacy questions or requests, contact West Engineering Systems LLC, Appleton, Wisconsin, at info@westengineeringsystems.com.
